====================================== 1. FORMAT OF THE TIPPING COMPETITION ====================================== 1.1. Games will use a Handicap betting system to equalise the value between favourites and underdogs. All games will essentially be priced at even money for scoring purposes. See further below for how this is scored 1.2. Not every game will be required to be tipped: * Group Stage: pick 5 out of the 8 games for each of five rounds * Quarter Finals onwards: pick all games 1.2.1. Tipping will close 2 hours prior to the start of the first match each round. 1.3. The final payout structure will be sent out when numbers are confirmed. 1.4. Entry will be $260 with $10 being a admin cost. A High Rollers comp is likely to run alongside, please contact Rob if interested and your preference for the entry fee (100% will be returned in this comp). 1.5. The lines for each group of games will be sent out separately and also be visible on the Tipping Website at https://rugbywc.ozsupercontest.com 1.6. Once the round is under way, all punters' tips will be available to see on the website. ======================= 2. THE SCORING SYSTEM ======================= 2.1. All handicaps will be in half point intervals leading to a defined winner and loser for each match. 2.2. For World Cup Tipping, the available match points for each match you tip varies depending on the stage of the tournament: * Group Stage: 4 points * Quarter Finals: 6 points (1.5x the Group Stage) * Semi Finals: 8 points (2x the Group Stage) * 3rd Place Playoff: 8 points (2x the Group Stage) * World Cup Final: 10 points (2.5x the Group Stage) =================== 3.
